Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Hello! ^^

Those are very strange days. I can't sleep and I'm always so stressed.
It's too hot in Milan and I melt at PC so I'm trying to read in my bed ,this is the reason why I'm not posting new deviations.
I miss Scotland very much. I miss UK,everytime I came bak here I'm always so sad.

I'm giving Photoshop lessons though, and I love it.
I started a collaboration with a huge Italian comic site (Kinart: ) working at Photoshop tutorials and publishing some work in progress ^^

Yesterday I received an email for Bologna Children Book Fair 2011. It's time to start thinking a theme for 5 illustrations to send O_O'''

Other unuseful news:
I hate summertime, my holidays are finished and I decided to cut my hair and dye it darker. Yay! I won't be blonde for a fiew months.
